This past weekend I dressed up in gold & posse’d up with some of the www.4130SubwaySeries.com guys & Robbie Miranda & some other BMX peeps & we joined in on the Critical Mass ride in Los Angeles. Picture about 1,000 bike riders taking over the streets in one mass group ride. It was crazy! But it was well organized & we even had the cops on our side. Bike cops, cop cars, motorcycle cops, & even a police helicopter (the Ghetto Bird!) were helping to escort the ride. They were blocking cars from intersections & letting us ride freely through the streets of LA. It was a site to be seen!

These rides go down on the last Friday of every month. If you are around the LA area, show up & RIDE!

Good luck to all of the SE Racing Factory Team riders @ the ABA Grand Nationals this weekend!!!

It was only a matter of time ’till we put pen to paper & drafted up the first ever Quad Fixed frame. What you see here is #1 of one. Strictly prototype & still in the development stage. This frame was handed off to Marwin “The Wizard” Ou last night. Marwin will be riding & testing it on the streets & skateparks of the LBC in the coming months.

We have not yet decided if we will bring the Quad Fixed frame into SE’s 2012 line of bikes. So for now, just consider it our little pet project.

If you know me, then you know I am a BMXer through & through, right? But sometimes it’s nice to mix it up once in a while. Like tonight for example. Tonight I’ll be flying through the streets of LA with Robbie Miranda & a bunch of dudes & a few chicks on road bikes & fixed gears. I won’t be dressed in spandex, nor will I be clipped with gears. I’ll be cruisin’ on my 700c PK Ripper (with freewheel) through the streets of LA & having an absolute blast.

I’ll be riding with a bunch of people all down for the love of the bike in all forms.
