Unfortunately, two of our riders are out for the time being. About a week ago, Luke Parslow held the “It Is What It Is Jam Round 2″ on his backyard jumps in Riverside California. In one of his runs over his big set, Luke’s foot blew off on a tailwhip and rolled it over as he slid down his massive landing. He said that he felt a pop in the side of his foot right as he did it and knew instantly that he had messed something up. Luke took a trip to the E.R. to get it checked out, and after some x-rays, a broken foot had been confirmed. His foot will be casted for the next four weeks and some more down time will be in Luke’s future for now after already going through a few injuries earlier this year. But knowing Luke, this will not phase him and he will make a strong comeback once again.

A couple days after Luke broke his foot, we got word that Kris Fox had gone down pretty heavy at Woodward West. He was up there filming with the Demolition Parts team during their week at Woodward. Kris said that he got sent awkwardly on an air-out on the big slant wall in the cement skatepark where he is usually seen riding at very high speeds. He landed and went over the bars, resulting in a blow to the chin, some stitches, and a knock out. Kris just went through an injury similar to this one very recently, so another bump to the head will leave him on the sidelines. Now also knowing Kris, he will be trying to heal up as quickly as possible and picking up right where he left off.

Us at SE Bikes want to wish both of our riders a full, speedy recovery and we can’t wait to see them shredding again!
