Our very own Larry Edgar had the chance to compete on America’s Got Talent. We had the chance to sit down and ask him a few questions about his experience being on the show, and grill him about being Sharon Osbourne’s crush.
Q:Larry, you were just on the hit TV show “America’s Got Talent” this past season. In a few words, describe what that meant to you.
A:being on the show was exciting and nerve racking for sure
Q:Did you ever think you’d make it to the semi finals on America’s Got Talent?
A:i never thought we would make it past the first audition but we all had our doubts
Q:Have you got recognized on the streets from being on TV? Have you gotten more chicks?
A:I have gotten recognized a few times but nothing to crazy and more chicks wanna talk to me but i never follow through haha
Q:It looked like Sharon Osborn had a crush on you after your semi-finals appearance. Any comments on that?
A:uhhhh no comment
Q:What team were you performing with and how many other people were on that team with you?
A:i was with the team all wheels sports and there was 15 of us on the ramps at the same time
Q:Was this the same team that you performed with in Ohio at the Cedar Point Amusement Park all summer?
A:just the ramp riders were the same, were all apart of the same company but two different teams
Q:Did you & the team talk about how you guys would split the $$$ if you won?
A:it was gonna be split evenly but thats all i heard
Q:Is there any behind the scenes stories that you can tell while staying and being on the road with all of you guys?
A:i dont think im allowed to say much but not to much happend
Q:During the “America’s Got Talent” season, there were stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and New York. How did you travel to all these different places and who did you travel with?
A:well to las vegas we rented a van and all drove together haha it was interesting, and to new york we all flew most of us were on the same plane
Q:With all of that traveling, when did the entire team find the time to rehearse together?
A:time for rehearsal was always cut short whether it be ramps getting there late or the union crew having 8 lunch breaks or the weather so rehearsal once we got it we went all out for as long as we could
Q:Before your live performances, were you nervous at all? Or did you treat it as a usual session on your bike?
A:i was a lil nervous for the la audition for some reason but after that it was just another session with the boys
Q:We saw you do tricks like flairs and double tailwhips in the live performances. What made you choose tricks like this instead of a flip or one of your massive dipped 360′s?
A:i didnt do any flips because i dont like flips and everyone else was taking that route so i just did what i like to do and no dipped threes cus the landings were so mellow
Q:Walk us through your semi-final performance in your own words. Were you going for a tripple tailwhip, or was it a double tailwhip that got away from you?
A:okay so i was supposed to do a double whip but i drank a redbull and ws all jittery and i was doing triples all summer so my mind was set on a double but my body kicked for a triple whip haha rookie mistake
Q:Is there any cool stories that you can tell us that happened behind the scenes on the show?
A:i cant talk about much behind the scenes sorry guys
Q:We are very proud of you Larry and you did a great job. Any last thanks or things to say?
A:thanks for having my back guys and thanks to jill transki for making all that possible for us.
