Stompin’ Stu Thomsen has been here for years! Undoubtedly, one of the most famous BMX racers of all time. When we sponsored Stu back in the late ‘70s, we created his own signature bike model called the STR-1. “STR” stood for “Stu Thomsen Replica.” And the 1 stood for #1, as Stu was the #1 pro racer at the time. Check him out on the left back in 1979 on his signature STR-1 Quadangle. And there he is on the right on the current day STR-1!
