What is your name, age, and hometown?
My name is Ryne Mills, age 32. Hometown: Milwaukee, WI. [Currently living in So Cal.]

How did you find bike life in the first place?
I found out about bike life after starting to ride bikes again at 23. I got a mountain bike after years of having no bike and just skateboarding. Then I stumbled upon Facebook videos of Dblocks, and said, “I gotta try that.”

What was it that got you hooked on bike life?
Just the enjoyment of riding a bike again and feeling free, and then the community.

Where are some of your favorite places to ride?
My favorite places to ride are any beach and all beaches in So Cal. Also, Mexico City has an amazing scene cooking up, and Hanoi, Vietnam was amazing.

Describe the bike life scene where you live.
The bike life scene where I live is 24/7. So Cal has rides every day of the week within an hour drive radius. Suns out, wheels up!

What is your favorite thing about bike life?
My favorite thing about bike life is the community and traveling that comes with it. Meeting people across the globe with the same mindset and that we can communicate with a language barrier all for the love of bikes. My favorite rideout was the first day in Japan. Aabsolutely insane culture shock and environment.

For the majority of the time I ride the Fast Ripper due to the gears and hydros. It rides kinda like a two-stroke; it rips quick when you need to. Other than that, anything 29” Big Ripper or Monster Ripper are right up there.

What is the key to improving your riding skills?
The key to improving your riding skills is consistency! Practice doesn’t make perfect, it makes progress. Also, taking care of your body is key. Can’t be getting up to ride Saturday morning if you don’t get a good night's sleep Friday night.

How many followers do you have on social media?
I have 29.3K on IG, But I’m more of an IRL-type rider.

What would you be doing if you never found bike life?
If I never found bike life I would still be taking photos/video and making other variety of digital media. I’ve been editing and shooting skate videos since before flip phone days. Always loved being behind the lens.

Will you ever stop riding?
I couldn’t stop riding. I get cabin fever too easy. ‘90s kid—I live outside!
