Hot Wheels™ and SE have made serious waves in the collab game! Hot Wheels created the SE Bikes Volkswagen Deluxe Station Wagon modeled after Damon and Rosie Dayton's SE bus in 2022, and they've also released two different colors of their Hot Wheels Surfin' School Bus modeled after the original SE Big Bus from the '70s. While all of the toys are extremely cool, we took things to an entirely different level in 2024 with the Hot Wheels Fat Ripper and Monster Ripper complete bikes!

The Design Process
Hot Wheels has so much history and so many cool designs that choosing which graphics to use on these bikes was a monumental task. We eventually decided to use Hot Wheels "Snake vs. Mongoose" for inspiration, and then everything fell into place. We included a slick number plate with each bike, and each bike also had its own custom box.

The Legends Tour and More!
When the Hot Wheels Legends Tour was heading to El Segundo, CA in 2024, Hot Wheels asked if SE would like to have a both at the event. Of course we said yes, and Damon and Rosie Dayton were more than happy to bring their SE VW Bus to the event. Spectators were stoked to see all aspects of the collab, and Damon may have even been the happiest person at the show!
Damon and Rosie are also the proud owners of the full-size SE Big Bus, so they were definitely the perfect SE riders to be involved with this project. We even made them custom stickers based on the SE Big Bus to give out at events. So cool!
