HOW TO BUILD YOUR NEW SE BIKE!
SE bikes ship partially assembled from the factory. We always recommend that a trained mechanic build your bike, but if you follow this guide and take your time, you can build the bike yourself.
Absolutely loved the black with red trim. Gave that one to my brother before getting ahold of the blue with white trim. Ended up throwing a motor on it which I’m sure some thief is enjoying to this day. Third time will be the charm, blue with yellow for casual riding in the Pacific Northwest
I bought this model back in 2008. I didn't think I would spend more than a couple hundred bucks on a bike, but I am glad I made this investment instead. I love my bike! It's lightweight, fast, and maneuvers well. I have clips on mine which makes it easy to handle steep inclines like over the Williamsburg Bridge. I hope to keep mine for the rest of my life but if I ever had to get another bike, I would get this one all over again.
First and only SE bike and besides the fact it looks like an everyday fixie frame this bike hauls ASS!
I love my Lager. Very fast and fun. Solid build as well.
